Hot on the heels of London's BAFTA awards ceremony, Mickey Rourke, Frida Pinto and a host of A-lister's turned out for the ELLE Style Awards 2009 in London last night. Hosted by Alexa Chung (who wore a custom fitted Chanel dress for her star turn presenting) Britain's most stylish stars, including Sienna Miller and Anna Friel, rubbed shoulder's with London's party girls, Pixie Geldof, Alice Dellal and co, as well as the cream of British design (Stephen Jones, Gareth Pugh, and Christopher Kane - to name just a few) and even the Prime Minister's wife, Sarah Brown who came to talk to the fashion glitterati about her charity The White Ribbon Appeal.
The night was a celebration of the world's most stylish, as chosen by you, the ELLE readers.
Courtney Love was voted your Woman of The Year. In her acceptance speech she thanked ELLE's Editor in Chief Lorraine Candy for choosing her to be an ELLE cover star, and helping to turn her life around this year.
