Marc Jacobs directed the Pop Queen for his s/s09 collection for the luxury French fashion house. Shot in a traditional Parisien bistro, who could forget the images of an ever lythe Madonna loungeing on banquets and stools working the new LV tassle bags, chunky bangles and feather trimmed '40s feel outfits in a wartime palette. Obviously all carried off with Madonna's sexually overt je ne sais quoi.
If you would like to have been a fly on the wall at that shoot - read on. Click on Louis Vuitton site today and you can see this collaboration come to life by viewing their own behind the scenes footage of the shoot. Shot beautifully of course, you can watch reportage of the build up to the shots and see Marc Jacobs explaining the concept and his conversations with Madonna on how to art direct the shoot. It's hard to imagine any other model having such a say in a major fashion campaign, but this is, of course, no ordinary model.
