Claudia Schiffer, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Jerry Hall and her daughters Georgia May and Elizabeth Jagger were just some of the A-list guests who attended the show at London's Banqueting House, though tickets were also available to the public, with all proceeds going to children's charity, the NSPCC.
The show was entitled, 'Chaos Point' and was inspired by Dame Westwood's growing concerns at the world's current ecological crisis.
There was nothing chaotic about the guests' fashion though. The black-tie event saw London's most fashionable residents resplendent in some of the season's most stylish gowns - including a few by Vivienne Westwood, natch.
One star who was not at thr show was Pamela Anderson despite rumours that she is the new face of Vivienne Westwood.
Reports suggest she has signed a six-figure deal to star in the designer's upcoming spring/summer 09 campaign that has already been shot in L.A. Reps for Westwood will not confirm the news, though this week Dame Viv herself had this to say, 'I can't speak about it yet. But anything I would say would be completely positive.'
