Last year Mischa Barton launched the campaign which asks you to bring your old, unwanted but still wearable clothes, shoes and bags to the Visa Swap Pop-up store in London's Covent Garden in June and July. Donors are then issued with points, which can be used to buy other vintage and second hand gems dropped off by fellow fashion fans.
The initiative works to highlight the work of clothing charity Triad and to encourage us all to do a bit of fashion recycling.
'The idea of swapping clothes, getting something for nothing and refreshing your wardrobe appeals to everyone' said Lindsay of her new role as ambassador of the event. And the chance to swap wardrobes with Lindsay - who has donated an Issa dress, two pairs of Jimmy Choos and a Miu Miu bag of her own - should certainly make the initiative more appealing still.
