Hollywood does Halloween

Need some inspiration for your Halloween costume this year? Look to Hollywood, as the a-list were out in fancy dress force this weekend! In America Halloween is nearly as important as Christmas, and everyone gets in to the spirit of dressing up...but not like ghosts and witches. Cue naughty nurses, sexy sailors and comic book heros. Kate Hudson and her on again, off again boyfriend Dax Shepheard hosted a stellar Halloween party on Saturday night at her home. Kate donned a particularly sexy brunette bob (maybe that's why Posh went dark!) and sailor girl outfit. Guests included Reese Witherspoon and her 'just good friend' Jake Gyllenhall - he came as a masked action hero, and Reese as... well we're not sure what in a frizzy wig! Kate's mum Goldie Hawn and step dad Kurt Russell were also there, as was Ashley Olsen. (Though with the backcombed hair, thick kohl eyes and white, sheet like, body swampping dress were not convinced she was actually in fancy dress!) Meanwhile across town Paris Hilton wore the first of two sexy uniforms on her night, accessorised with this Marilyn Manson-esque false eye. Now that is scary!
