Our weekly round up of all the gossip from celeb land

Hot on the heels from her recent split with Paul Sculfor it's been revealed she's going to star in a film adaptation of the best selling self help manual, 'He's just not that into you' - the dating bible you may remember Miranda reading in Sex and The City. She'll co-star with another of Hollywood's recently heartbroken - Drew Barrymore, who split with rocker boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti earlier this year. Maybe the girls see the movie as therapy!

Talking of therapy, reformed wild child Nicole Richie, went to jail last night...for just over an hour. The mum-to-be arrived at The Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California at 3.15pm, to serve her 4 day sentence for driving under the influence, but by 4.37pm she was out! Apparently due to overcrowding in L.A's prisions there is just no room for a female detainee who has committed a non-violent offence. (Apparently driving the wrong way down the motorway drugged off your head is a non violent offence in la la land!)

In sharp contrast to what's going on in L.A, it looks like back home model Lily Cole is becoming a tree hugger! She's signed up for the tree-athlon, a 5K run and fashion swap aimed at helping plant more trees in to British cities. The idea is that to rasie money to plant new trees Lil, along with anyone else who wishes to join, gets sponsored to run the 5K. In addition participants will be encouraged to bring any unwanted fashion items with them and recycle (erm, swap!) them with other runners, thus reducing everyone's carbon footprints. Wouldn't mind seeing if Lily brings any new season Dior with her, wouldn't you!
