Nicole and Joel, engaged?

Last week, pushed by veteran TV anchor Regis Philbin on his show Live! With Regis and Kelly, Regis said, “we hear you might have got her a little ring or something…” to which Joel responded, “I was hoping it would be a surprise but now….” Then on Friday, after an acoustic set by Joel and his brother Benji at a Virginia club, a local DJ (who else to let the cat out of the bag?!) announced to the crowd, “He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel!”. So, about as official as it gets!
