Lana Del Reys next single, Ride, is being trailed by an epic 10 minute video on YouTube and it is sultry with a capital 'S'. The hazy, sex-soaked clip is littered with Hollywood references from Easy Rider, Thelma & Louise, True Romance and more. And gone is the shiny, sleek bouffant she's become known for most recently showcased her recent autumn/winter campaign for H&M.
Instead, Lana's opted for trailer-trash style with big bouncy curls and heavy brown lipliner, reminiscent of all Nineties TV stars, ever. Daisy Duke-style sawn-off shorts and a pair of battered cowboy boots complete the look.
Elsewhere in the mini-movie, Del Rey courts controversy by wearing what looks like a Native American headdress, cuddling up to a number of different Hells Angels, playing with guns and rubbing one all over her face and, finally, smoking a cigarette in a petrol station. Which everyone knows is a fire hazard! Rock stars, though; they just can't help living on the edge
