These stars, joined by Gemma Arterton, Paul Smith and Joanna Lumley, have donated signed pairs of shoes to be auctioned by the Small Steps Project, a charity that aims to lift children living on some of the worlds largest rubbish dumps out of poverty.
These shoes were given with love, Miller said of her black Stefanel sandals (size 37). I loved dancing the night away in them and hope they can bring as much joy to someone else. It's a privilege to be able to donate to such a worthwhile charity.
Arterton donated the shoes she wore to a Giorgio Armani couture show in 2010, Smith signed two pairs of his loafers, and Missoni offered up her favourite pair of Missoni silver heelsin size 39.5, in case youre interested.
I donated these Missoni shoes to the London celebrity shoe auction because I believe its essential to grasp every occasion to be useful to others, Missoni said. My awareness is particularly directed towards problems related to infants and children and I hope that this small act may help even a single child to live better.
Money raised through past celebrity shoe auctions has funded projects in four countries, enabling Small Steps to deliver shoes, medication, school uniforms, food and clothing to thousands of children.
