Mulberry treated the great and good of London Fashion Week to an intimate showcase with Lana Del Rey on Sunday night. ELLE Acting Editor Jenny Dickinson tells us what it was like...
It was a pinch-me moment: sat inches in front of Lana Del Rey as she performed 5 songs for the intimate crowd at the Savile Club, backed by just a piano and a guitar. Designer Emma Hill whooped as her new star (and bag namesake) defied the critics and made the hair on our arms stand on end.
Michelle Williams looked sexy yet feminine in a custom-made leather and lace Mulberry dress and stayed until the very last minute, despite the unpacked cases awaiting her in her hotel room ahead if an early morning flight back to the States.
Elizabeth Olsen told me she had flown over specially for the show and with only a few hours in London had been to peer through the magical window of Alexander McQueen.
We left as Emma Hill thrust boxes of Claridges monster truffles on us for the journey home - they didn't last longer than the taxi ride.
