Anne Hathaways megawatt smile has competition in the sparkle department, thanks to a new engagement ring. The actress announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Adam Shulman on Monday after she was spotted wearing the ring around Brooklyn.

Hathaway and actor/jewellery designer Shulman began dating in 2008, shortly after the actress split from disgraced Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri.
The couple has maintained a low public profile throughout their three-year relationship. When ELLE asked her about her relationship for her December 2010 cover turn, she would only say, Im happy. Hopefully he is, too.
