Alexa and Henry fete Superga

Happy birthday, Superga. The Italian footwear brand celebrated its 100th year with a party at Shoreditch House on Wednesday night.

Alexa Chung (the face of the brand), Henry Holland and Nick Grimshaw united to toast the label. The launch of House of Holland’s collection for Superga, the brand's first tie-up with a UK designer, provided another reason to party. Pixie Geldof did just that in fine fashion when she jumped onstage for a live set—all in a House of Holland S/S ’12 cow-print dress, naturally.

Superga was founded in the Italian city of Turn in 1911. The brand signed Chung as its spokesperson in spring 2011, just in time for the 24 Hour Catwalk presenter to wear its wellies to Glastonbury.
