Emmy Awards red carpet report
The red carpet received an extra shot of crimson from a clutch of gorgeous gowns at last nights Emmy Awards.

Lea Michele in draped-back Marchesa, Kate Winslet in Elie Saab, and Modern Family star Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang were among the attendees wearing the siren colour of the night.
The event provided an end-of-summer excuse for full-on glamour. Other standouts were Claire Danes in a blue-sequinned gown by Oscar de la Renta, Christina Hendricks in Johanna Johnson and Glee's Dianna Agron in cobalt-blue Roksanda Ilincic. True Blood star Anna Paquin stayed loyal to her red-carpet favourite Alexander McQueen, while Gwyneth Paltrow split the jury with her crop-top and skirt ensemble from Emilio Pucci
