Stars head to Toronto for film festival

Proving that the fashion action isn't limited to New York Fashion Week is the Toronto International Film Festival. Actors and directors flock to the Canadian city to promote more than 300 films every September--and that amounts to a load of red carpet opportunities.

Madonna wore Yves Saint Laurent and Tom Ford outfits to introduce W.E. at the festival, accompanied by Andrea Riseborough (sparkling in emerald sequinned Dolce & Gabbana) and Abbie Cornish.

Jennifer Garner, who together with husband Ben Affleck recently announced that she is pregnant with their third child, glowed in Valentino at the Butter premiere, while Olivia Wilde opted for a flowing Grecian-inspired gown. Keira Knightley donned fresh-from-couture Elie Saab, while Kirsten Dunst dared to pair Prada and Chanel.
