Leaving aside, for a moment, the fact that to our knowledge, Lady Gaga has yet to announce any engagement to on/off love Luc Carl, bookmakers Paddy Power are taking bets on who will design the performers wedding gown.
Leading the (fictional?) stakes is Gagas sister and first-year fashion student Natali Germanotta, with 13/8 odds. Other high-oods hopefuls are close collaborator Nicola Formichetti (7/4), Gareth Pugh (5/1), Atsuko Kudo and Donatella Versace. PP deems Donna Karan and Stella McCartney the least likely Gaga-gown auteurs.
Little Monsters and Gaga watchers can also place bets on which materials will be used to create the (still fictional) gown. Forget Chantilly lace and silk guiperethe options include balloons, glass and aluminium cans.
Rumours of Gagas nuptials have swirled since last October, when The Sun reported that Gaga would marry during her tours stop in the UK. The promised British countryside wedding didn't materialise.
We think all odds are off. Because after the meat dress, endless S&M harnesses and dragging up for the VMAs, wouldnt walking down the aisle in a demure white gown be the most shocking thing Gaga could do?
