Anne brings One Day to London in McQueen

Anne Hathaway wore a tea-length white lace dress from Alexander McQueens Resort 2012 collection to the London premiere of One Day last night.

She completed the look with a McQueen clutch and peep-toe shoes, enhancing the dresss romantic air with softly waved hair.

Early reviews of the film have been mixed, with Huffington Posts reviewer calling it an emotional revenge fantasy for women who've had the misfortune of falling for jerks.

We were far too taken with the book to ever offer a fair appraisal of its big-screen adaptation, but we will say this: at the screening we attended, nobody moved when the lights rose at the end of the filmthey were too busy daubing their eyes to leave.

For her part, Hathaway just hopes that British audiences find her Yorkshire accent passable.

I was more nervous about the accent than nudity, she said, telling the Daily Mail that she watched Emmerdale to prepare for the role. I mean, you can do sit-ups as prep for the nudity. But there arent a lot of vocal sit-ups that you can do.
