Where's the Versace? Gaga wears YSL, more in new video
Lady Gaga released her video for Yoü And I yesterday. After the Versace harness love affair that was the Edge of Glory vid, this one is an orgy of fashion references.

In consistent form, Gaga collaborator Nicola Formichetti posted fashion credits for the video to his blog shortly after its release. The opening ensemble alone includes a hat by Philip Treacy, a YSL jacket, Chanel trousers, Pleaser shoes and facial armour by Millennium FX.
Gaga, looking ethereal and silvered and not unlike her own Vanity Fair cover in the second scene, wears a custom dress by Hussein Chalayan. Alter ego Jo Calderone (AKA Gaga in drag) also appears atop the singers piano, wearing Dior Homme trousers and Chanel boots.
It goes on... all against a lovesick song that sounds like it owes more to Dolly Parton than Poker Face. Its like Gaga leaned on the fashion to distract fans of her more avant-garde music from the fact that this is a country track.
By the way: the umlauts? Inaudible.
