Kate gives Erdem the royal seal of approval

Its Erdemagain! Kate Middleton continued her pageant of carefully considered, British-with-a-Canadian-twist fashion yesterday with an appearance in a second dress by designer Erdem Moralioglu.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore the lace-embellished, navy blue Jacquenta dress from Erdems pre-fall 11 collection for a day in Quebec City.

She arrived in Canada last week wearing another navy blue lace dress (the Cecile) by the Montreal-born designer. She wore both dresses with the same LK Bennett cream pumps and envelope clutch.

(A question: does owning a staggeringly large sapphire engagement ring limit a woman to wearing navy blue clothing in perpetuity? Just asking...)

Over the weekend, Middleton opted for a grey tailored dress by Princess Diana favourite Catherine Walker.

She revisited one of her favourite looks on Friday, wearing the Reiss Nanette dress from her official engagement photographs to a citizenship ceremony. She paired the cream ruffled dress with a red maple-leaf hat in a nod to Canada Day. Red: imagine the possibilities...
