For the first time since 2005's Mr & Mrs Smith – the film which reportedly brought them together – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will star in not one, but two new films together: By The Sea and Cleopatra.

By The Sea, an ‘intimate, character-driven' drama, will not only boast both stars on its cast list but it was actually written by Angelina. She'll be directing it, too.

Both will also star in a new, upcoming adaptation of Cleopatra along with all six of their children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox - who have each been assigned parts.

The experience will be nothing new, of course, for six-year-old Vivienne who starred alongside her mother in Maleficent, which was released by Disney to much fanfare earlier this year.

'It had to be Viv,' Angelina told Entertainment Weekly at the time.

'The other 3- and 4-year-old [actors] wouldn't come near me… It had to be a child that liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws.'
