Chanel: 80 Years of Diamonds
Sparkling guests at the Chanel jewellery party included anyone whos anyone on the New York Fashion scene, from Blake Lively, Alexa Chung, January Jones, Elle Fanning. The occasion in questions was the 80th anniversary of the Bijoux de Diamants jewellery collection.
The original collection was created in 1932 by Coco Chanel, which promptly took the world by storm. Her inspiration? I want the jewellery to be like a ribbon on a womans fingers. I wanted to cover women with constellations.
