Kate Middleton wore a beautiful Alexander McQueen Black Watch tartan dress coat while on a visit on her old school, St Andrew's, in Pangbourne, Berkshire today.
The Duchess of Cambridge teamed the coat with her old faithful black knee-high Rhumba boots by Aquatalia by Marvin K and the sweeping fringe she debuted this week.
The coat is a fashion-savvy choice for the Duchess: tartan is big trend for this season, having had quite a presence on the autumn/winter 2012 catwalks at , and , as well as Alexander McQueen.
Since she commissioned McQueen creative director Sarah Burton to design her wedding dress, the label has been a go-to label for the Duchesss wardrobe, whether for public outings or red carpet events. Long may the stylish partnership continue.
