She's a hugely successful model, wife of A-list actor Orlando Bloom, mother to her little boy Flynn and also a skincare entrepreneur, and still manages it all with her angelic smile firmly in place. But what's her secret?
Miranda Kerr has no problem turning on and off the sexy side required of her to be a Victoria’s Secret ‘angel’ it is revealed in the December issue of Esquire magazine. When asked if she ever found ‘fulfilling male fantasies for a living’ difficult, she quickly replied ‘not at all’, going on to explain that because ‘my temperament is flirtatious . . . it’s second nature to me’
And Miranda, who is described as unmistakably in control both of her own career and the magazine’s cover shoot at which the interview takes place, is sure she would never cross the line from sexy to seedy: ‘[a shoot has to be] classy and timeless and . . . something I wouldn’t be ashamed of. I believe in celebrating the female figure and embracing what we’ve been given, not hiding it’.
Far be it from us to disagree with Miranda, who by all accounts is one smart cookie (check this – her skincare label, Kora Organics, sells in 180 countries and keeps her Mum, Dad, brother, uncle and aunts in employment). And, if we had a figure like the Aussie super model, we'd surely be embracing, rather than hiding it too.
Esquire is out tomorrow.
