Adidas' Stan Smith sneakers had a good run as the go-to kicks of Fashion Girls. After Phoebe Philo took her bow at Céline while wearing a pair back in 2010, it seemed every industry insider simply had to have a pair. Once they officially relaunched in 2014 it was wrap—everywhere you turned someone was wearing the sleek and simple shoe option.
But so it goes with insanely popular pieces, they've become played out, leaving you to search for the new new—something that no one else is wearing. And that's why today, Adidas has announced that it's relaunching another one of their classics, the Gazelle.
First introduced in the 1960s, the sneaker returns in 12 bright suede colorways, including the white rubber sole and leaf heel tab you loved so much as a kid in the '90s.
To celebrate the re-launch, Adidas has teamed up with artist Doug Abraham to hack an iconic photo from 1993 of Kate Moss wearing Gazelles. Watch it come to life in this YouTube video, then buy a pair before these sell out as quickly as Stan Smiths once did.
