If you've ever worked in an office in the summer, you'll know how tricky it is to navigate the daily chore of dressing 'appropriately'.

'Are shorts okay? How about sandals? Am I allowed to wear a strapless top?'

Not only do we have to contend with dodgy air conditioning that varies from the Arctic to the Amazon, but also the worry that our colleagues might judge us for our #summervibes attire.

So take a moment to think of Megyn Kelly who was on the receiving of an outpouring of abuse from viewers after she decided to bare her on national television.

Oh the scandal!

During her coverage at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio over the weekend, Fox TV presenter Megyn Kelly appeared wearing a black strappy dress. 

As a result, the presenter received criticism on Twitter with trolls comparing her dress to a sock and a bikini, while others called her a 'whore' and an 'escort'.

Sadly, this isn't the first time a presenter has been called out for her choice of clothing.

In May, KTLA's meterologist Liberté Chan was given a cardigan to wear live on air following complaints about the dress she was wearing.  

We wonder if people would comment on how a male presenter dressed? 

Somehow, we think not.
