If you've ever been a sales assistant, working minimum wage, faking a smile as a pedantic customer shouts at you for a lack of stock or been kicked in the face while fitting new school shoes on a small cretin (otherwise known as a child), you'll understand how demanding shop work can be.

So when we saw Rihanna serving customers at the launch of her much anticipated fashion collection Fenty Puma in New York City yesterday, we felt a small pang of jealousy.

Why?

Because she rocked it.

Forget cheap polyester shirts and plastic name tags, Rihanna stood behind the shop counter at Bergdorf Goodman in a white crop top and poppered trousers (an ELLE style favourite FYI) and thigh-high lace-up stiletto boots featuring the words 'Puma' and 13' .

In a post to Instagram, the 28-year-old songstress can be seen shaking her hips to the music as she danced against the worktop counter.

Now, while we don't condone this for all shop assistants (Look, I just want to pay for this top, can you please stop twerking on the till?), she surprisingly makes serving customers in a shop actually look fun.

In another Instagram video, the Only Girl singer can also be seen teasing fans with her Fenty Puma footwear as they grab out to buy her stock.

Somehow we doubt RiRi was forced to lock up, clean the toilets and get the bus home after her stint behind the counter but she's officially defined #shopgirl goals for sales assistant around the world.

We'd hire you, RiRi.
