Following a day of rumours, Margot Robbie has confirmed that she has married British director Tom Ackerley in her native Australia.
The actress posted a photo on her official Instagram account that shows her pear-shaped diamond engagement ring sitting next to a subtle gold wedding band as she kisses her new husband.
The pair wed at a private property in Coorabell, Byron Bay on Sunday, December 18th, according to news.com.au.
A first glimpse of her wedding dress has also been had thanks to some surreptitious paparazzi photos. They show Robbie in a cream lace off-the-shoulder gown with ribbon detailing at the waist, reportedly her mother's wedding dress that she had altered, without a veil and her hair styled in loose waves.
The couple met in 2013 while working on the film Suite Francais, and have lived together in a house share in Clapham, south London for the last couple of years.
Last year they co-founded a production company called LuckyChap alongside two of their friends. Their first project will be I, Tonya, a biopic of infamous American figure skater Tonya Harding, whom Robbie will play.
