Okay, so we know this phrase is frequently over-used in fashion, but presenter-turned-model-turned designer Alexa Chung is, and might always be, our #OutfitGoals fashion icon.

From the moment the 33-year-old appeared on our televisions for Channel 4's music show, Popworld, in 2007, we fell in love with her androgynous, over-sized knits, Peter Pan collars, tiger-print everything and iconic ballet flats.

In the 10 years that have passed, the London-born star has fronted campaigns such as Lacoste, Superga and Longchamp, had a Mulberry bag named after her, art directed an UGG comeback and masterminded several design collaborations with Marks & Spencer and AG Jeans.

Clearly unable to satiate her sartorial designs, last summer Alexa announced she would start her very own eponymous label, 'Alexachung', and we couldn't have been more thrilled.

At the time, we reported the former model would be acting as Creative Director of the label, overseeing a a six-person design team with the former head of atelier at Haider Ackermann, Edwin Bodson, acting as Managing Director.

A mere two seasons later, and we've just learned Alexachung is set to arrive on 30 May.

Yes, this month!

Last night, the brand launched a new website, logo, and Instagram account with some seriously inspirational Alexa-focussed shots of her having a ball in a field wearing skinny jeans and a green-hued blouse.

But, that's not all.

The label also released a video to accompany news of its launch date, adding even more excitement ahead of the coveted collection.

Shot byAustralian filmmakers, Daniel and Lorin Askil, the short film – called Dressage – sees the FROW regular show off her impressive, equestrian skills wearing a white ruffle-collar blouse (her initials seem to be woven into the jacquard), a gingham plaid riding jacket and white jeans, as she elegantly rides a white stallion, who expertly creates the logo 'A' in sand with its hooves.

According to the Telegraph, Chung's collection is expected to include more than 100 pieces including shoes and jewellery.

Alexa released a press release explaining the video:

It is a tongue-in-cheek celebration of the dedication, precision, skill and determination needed to develop and create something aesthetically pleasing, coupled with the feeling that you could spend endless amounts of time trying to create something that means a lot to you, hoping that some might appreciate it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I guess itʼs supposed to be funny.

Now, hands up who wants that riding jacket.
