A spokesperson for the brand confirmed with Harper's BAZAAR UK this morning that the item was a direct reference to comments the label has received on social media regarding the First Lady.
Trump has worn Dolce & Gabbana on numerous occasions, such as for her meeting with Pope Francis last month and, most recently, last weekend when she officially moved into the White House wearing a sleeveless D&G top with Bally trousers.
Stefano Gabbana shared a tongue-in-cheek video about the £191 T-shirt on Instagram, along with the caption: 'All the lovers and all the #HATERS Reliving.'
