First we had Emily ratajkowski nailing the athleisure trend in DKNY's new campaign and now we've got model-of-the-moment Hailey Baldwin also informing us that the tracksuit is still very much A Thing. Which is good news, obviously.

Hailey Baldwin fronts new adidas and JD Sports EQT A/W campaign | ELLE UKpinterest

The 20-year-old model is the face of adidas' new campaign with British fashion retailer JD Sports and brings her 'effortless L.A. street style' to the pioneering EQT silhouette. The footwear collection, which will be released in different colourways over the coming months, will feature women's (and men's) EQT footwear styles.

'I am so excited to front the new adidas and JD Sports EQT campaign. It's a streetwear must-have that brings a throwback element to your look, but with a super modern interpretation,' said Baldwin.

'I'm all about off-duty style and the EQT is super versatile. Statement jackets, relaxed sweatshirts, denim, cropped tees…that's what I'll be styling my EQT's with this season.'

Casting an Insta-famous supermodel in athletic ads is nothing new. It's a tried-and-true formula that's already been well exploited by other big brands. Just this week Kendall Jenner's new adidas Originals collaboration dropped onto our feeds, whilst in 2017 alone we've witnessed: Gigi Hadid for Reebok, Bella Hadid for Nike, and Kylie Jenner for Puma.

The adidas EQT Fall/Winter 2017 collection is available now at JDSports.co.uk, with additional styles launching in September.
