Just a week after teasing she was teaming up with Beyoncé on a new project, sending the internet into a complete meltdown at the fact two of our favourite women were working together, actress Laverne Cox has revealed she is the newest face of Ivy Park.

Sharing a photograph to Instagram from one of the AW17 campaign shots, the Orange Is The New Black star captioned the post: 'It's about being free. Listening and moving without any judgment or limitation.'

Cox joins the likes of models Grace Bol, Ralph Souffrant, and dancer Karen McDonald for the brand's campaign, which is titled 'Strong Beyond Measure'.

The trans activist recently said in an interview she was shocked to have been asked to appear in the campaign.

'I couldn't believe it. There have been a lot of moments in my life that I just kind of can't believe, like, "Really? Really?!" I remember being so excited.

'I was in New York, and they wanted to do the [Ivy Park] shoot in L.A. So I flew in, and I got a really good night's sleep, and I woke up at like three or four in the morning. I stretched. I made sure I was warmed up, so I could really give everything I could give. You have to slay for Beyoncé! I hope she's happy. It's a dream come true. Obviously, everyone knows I'm a huge Beyoncé fan,' she added.

The 45-year-old also gave her personal interpretation of the Ivy Park motto 'Strong Beyond Measure'.

'Strength beyond measure is when we allow ourselves to tap into something that's bigger than us, that's going to propel us to the next place, the next phase in our lives of excellence,' she said.

Well, I think we can all agree her new campaign shot is pure excellence.
