You know that infuriating moment when your best mate tells you she just sold her new H&M X Erdem maxi-dress/Nike trainers/Mango earrings on Depop, despite knowing you've been coveting her recent buys for weeks?

Well, that's what happened to us last night when we learned Beyoncé has sold that famous black, wide-rimmed hat from her 'Formation' video for over £20,000.

However, on this occasion, we'll let the 36-year-old off given that funds raised from the sale went to a Heritage Auction benefiting non-profit The Lung Transplant Project.

On Monday, Beyoncé and singer/producer Pharrell raised almost £30,000 for the charity, adding their autographs onto several of their personal donated items.

The mother-of-three signed her name inside the brim of the iconic headpiece with the note 'all my love'.

The item was predicted to sell for between £760 and £1,520, but the final bid won out with an offer of approximately £21,000, according to TMZ.

Meanwhile, Pharrell donated two pairs of adidas Originals which sold for a whopping £8,600, reports the Daily Mail, with the messages 'let the universe in. Please don't make excuse' and 'we are nothing without GOD. The universe is one' on the rims of the shoes.

The Lung Transplant Project raises money and awareness to reduce transplant waiting list times.

Give us a warning next time Bey and we'll scramble around to save up our combined annual salaries, alright?
