Last Thursday, tennis champion Serena Williams married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian carrying a bouquet of white roses, dressed in a fairytale wedding gown designed by none other than Alexander McQueen creative director, Sarah Burton.

Yep, that's right, the same designer who created Kate Middleton's iconic wedding dress.

You know, no biggie.

So, it was only fitting that her bridal party - including the likes of Anna Wintour, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Kim Kardashian, and Ciara - showed off their fashion credentials at the star-studded event, too.

In several pictures shared to Instagram, mother-of-three Beyoncé was spotted wearing a fitted emerald dress by Alexandre Vauthier with a long blonde mane of crimped hair that cascaded down to her knees.

Her mother, Tina Lawson, opted for a pink MNM Couture with an exaggerated shoulder for the occasion, while Queen B's BFF and former Destiny's Child band member, Kelly Rowland opted for a stunning fuchsia and aubergine ombre gown from Pamela Rolland's SS18 collection.

During the night's Beauty and the Beast-themed festivities, Tony-winning actress and star of The Colour Purple, Cynthia Erivo, performed in a Delphine Manivet's black velvet creation, before posting her congratulations to the happy couple on Instagram.

Ciara, meanwhile, opted for a custom-made black halter-neck princess ball gown from designer Michael Costello, who also designed the bridesmaid's dressed for her own 2016 wedding.

TV personality LaLa Anthony opted for a burgundy-hued Vera Wang dress with sheer lace details, while actress/model Nicole Ari Parker showed off her fashion know-how in a lilac-coloured sheer dress and matching faux fur stole.

According to reports, the pair tied the knot of 16 November in the Contemporary Arts Centre of New Orleans to commemorate Ohanian's late mother's birthday which falls on the same day, in one of the groom's favourite cities.

Bridesmaids reportedly made their entrances to rounds of applause at the wedding wearing custom Galia Lahav dresses.

Meanwhile, Serena sported not one but three dresses on her wedding day.

Her second gown was dramatic beaded, feathered Versace creation, while her third was a fitted, shorter design by the same fashion house, which she wore for her first dance (to Beauty and the Beast's 'Tale as Old as Time') with her husband.

What a wedding!
