The whole world seems to be pining for Meghan Markle's white wrap coat and stylish midi-tote, but for those who are dreaming of a replica of her stunning engagement ring - we're afraid it's bad news.

Cleave and Company Court Jewellers and Medallists were commissioned by Prince Harry to make the stunning piece, but the royal company's director Stephen Connelly has confirmed that they will not be designing any copies.

'We're not going to be making replicas of it. If you want a ring, then we'll design you a different one,' he told HELLO! magazine.

David Thomas, the Cleave and Company jeweller who worked on the one-of-a-kind ring, admitted that making the ring was the 'biggest and hardest' secret he has had ever had to keep in his life.

He added: 'Jewellers are like doctors: we never discuss our patients.'

Markle's ring was made from three stones: one from Botswana (where couple are said to have holidayed together) and two diamonds from his mother Princess Diana's personal collection, ITV's Royal Editor Chris Ship tweeted after the couple attended a photocall following their engagement news.

During their joint interview, the Suits star also confirmed that Harry designed the ring, which she described as 'incredibly special'.

'The ring is yellow gold because that's her favourite, and the main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds either side are from my mother's jewellery collection to make sure that she's with us on this crazy journey together,' Harry explained to the BBC's Mishal Husain.

Meanwhile, Harry and Markle recently completed their first royal duties since announcing their engagement by attending two separate engagements in Nottingham to raise awareness of both HIV/AIDS and youth crime.

The official date for the couple's wedding has yet to be confirmed, but the pair will be marrying at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May next year.

And if you're having Meghan Markle withdrawal symptoms, it's being speculated that the actress is now taking a break to travel and visit friends and family before settling into her new life at Kensington Palace.
