If it wasn't Rihanna's millenial-pink range for Fenty Puma SS18 , it was the rosy, peach and fuchsia ruffles silks on the runways at Preen, Erdem and Gucci that firmly cemented the bubble gum hue as the palette du jour for all 2017 wardrobes.

However, if you thought the joyous, spring hue's time in the limelight has passed, think again, as actress Gal Gadot is proving that pink never goes out of fashion, regardless of the weather.

Yesterday, the Wonder Woman star stormed the red carpet at the Palm Springs International Film Festival dressed in a beautiful pink Oscar de la Renta suit.

Featuring hot pink culottes, a matching blazer and contrasting dark pink bodice, the Israeli actress paired her look with nude-coloured heeled sandals, despite it being, yes, January.

Tousled, effortless curls and a smidge of fuschia-hued lipstick complimented her look perfectly, inspiring us all to dig out the Barbie-coloured items in our wardrobes to brighten up the most dreary of Januarys.
