Whether it's her choice of double Erdem or her continued love of Catherine Walker, Kate Middleton has been showing the best of British fashion during her royal tour of Scandinavia this week.

And her choice of attire for a lavish dinner at the royal palace in Oslo, Norway served the perfect opportunity to keep the tradition going.

Last night, the Duchess of Cambridge shone in a stunning blush pink Alexander McQueen gown with an empire waist that grazed the top of her growing baby bump.

The floor-length gown - designed by Sarah Burton who was the mastermind behind her royal wedding dress - draped over the mother-of-two's svelte figure, with a cape-like overlay featuring a diamond-encrusted floral pattern across her neckline.

The 36-year-old teamed her look with diamond drop earrings and the diamond bracelet Queen Elizabeth II wore on her wedding day.

Kate's pink dress was similar to the famous pearlescent pink sequin gown designed by Jenny Packham she wore to the ARK Gala dinner following her wedding in 2011.

The royal dinner marked the last night of Prince William and Kate's four-day tour of Scandinavia which kicked off in Sweden earlier this week.

During their 'holiday', the pair have played bandy hockey, enjoyed a luncheon with the Swedish royals, dined with Alicia Vikander and visited a furniture museum.

Ina speech at the Fotografiska Gallery in Stockholm on Wednesday, Prince William thanked the Swedish royals for their hospitality.

'Sweden is a country that holds a very special place in the heart of my family, and for all British people. And it has been a joy to see that our very high expectations for this beautiful city have been fully met,' he said.

We don't know about you but we're loving Kate's daring wardrobe choices of late. Long may it continue!
