French model Thylane Blondeau has just been named L'Oréal's latest brand ambassador and here's why.
To celebrate her 16th birthday, French model Thylane Blondeau has just been announced as cosmetic brand L'Oréal's latest brand ambassador, joining the likes of supermodels Doutzen Kroes and Barbara Palvin.
Following the announcement, the model issued a statement referring to the brand as a company in which feels, 'I can be myself, defending values that matter for me such as self-confidence and self-esteem'.
You might recognize the St. Tropez-born model from way back in 2011, when the then 10-year-old hit the headlines following the publication of a Vogue Paris editorial in which she wore heavy makeup, heels and posed provocatively on a couch and subsequently became was the subject of child sexualisation claims.
In the years that followed, the French model was dubbed 'the most beautiful girl in the world' and has since modeled for Dolce & Gabbana's spring/summer 2017 campaign alongside Zendaya, Lucky Blue Smith and Presley Garber and most recently walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana's fall/winter 2017 show.
She's also garnered an A-list group of friends, including the likes of Brooklyn Beckham, Kaia Gerber, Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis and model lookalike, Barbara Palvin.
