Although the shoot may have caught your attention largely thanks to our skill in convincing Beckham to remove his shirt, the fashion remains an important element. Our stylist capitalised on Beckhams classic looks by choosing dozens of pieces of denim and plenty of bicep-flaunting t-shirts.

Speaking of, want to know what Beckham calls the craziest thing he has ever done for the love of fashion? No, its not swimming with his jeans on for our cover. Its one from the archive.

Probably the sarong, he says. That was a little bit brave, wearing that. I got a little bit of stick for it over the years, but I still look back at it and think it was a great idea and it looked good.
