French actress, songwriter and all-round-cool-girl, Charlotte Gainsbourg, has created four capsule collections for the denim brand Current Elliot.
The line, which launches this week, is exactly what you would expect from a French fashion icon – think boyfriend-fit shirts, raw-denim utility jackets, fine knits and the perfect pair of jeans.
‘For me, denim has always been a fabric that can take on the personality of the person who wears it’, Gainsbourg says of the collection. If that's the case, and with her own enviable style a clear inspiration for the line, we'll take the lot.
The first collection drops this week at Net-a-porter, Matches, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, with prices starting from £200.
