Polish born designer Magda Butrym, known for her feminine design aestheics is making waves in the fashion world and celebrities from Chrissy Teigen to Jordann Dunn are lapping it up too.
We caught up with the young designer to find out more about her 4th collection:
1| What item would be in your fantasy fashion cupboard?
Jane Birkin's closet, especially her patchwork jeans would be great. I would love to have a vintage Hermes Kelly bag from the 1980's in shiny black leather. I also love Pristine jewellery - especially their ear cuffs.
2| If you weren't a designer what would you want to be?
A doctor, maybe a plastic surgeon - when I was in high school I was studying to go to Med School when I realized my biggest concern was what my medical apron would look like..
3| What is your biggest source of inspiration?
Vintage fashion photos - I like to look in the past for inspiration.
4| What is the one fashion item you want to buy from the SS16 shows?
Black Celine "cowboy" style boots with a mid-height wooden heel.
5| What is your motto?
Never expect anything for free from life, if you really want something you need to work for it.
