Who doesn’t love Markus Lupfer and his fashion spin on the novelty knit? The German-born designer graduated in 1997 from London’s University of Westminster with a first-class honors degree, and has been working on his own label ever since then.
He was Design Director at Spanish fashion house Armand Basi starting in 2006. He has also worked with international brands such as Ruffo, Cacharel and Mulberry.
The 14 piece capsule collection from the German king of witty knits, will hit branches of Whistles on Monday 5th November, but we can bring you a peep at them all now. From football supporter-esque hat, gloves and mittens to some cozy PJ’s and and heart-print iPad case that will certainly sell out in minutes, plus an amazing jumper to keep small fashionable dogs from catching a chill. We’re lovin’ a touch of Markus on the High Street.
It comes ahead of Markus’s kids range for Debenhams and after Whistles most recent designer collaboration, with jeweller Lulu Frost.
