Did we mention we had a date with Pharrell this week? (Oh, we did?) Well, the behatted one has just given us even more reason to love him - by putting the Vivienne Westwood Mountain Hat that scarce been off his head recently up for auction to raise money for charity.
The winner of his now-iconic headwear (specifically, it's the brown one that he wore to the Grammys, and which made a brief appearance in the #ELLEphotobooth last week) will receive a letter of authenticity, while all proceeds will benefit the singer's non-profit From One Hand To Another foundation, which creates 'learning centres' to support underserved youths.
Pharrell has been tweeting up a storm around the sale, so it's little wonder that the hat's $200 starting bid mushroomed beyond $10,000 in 24 hours.
If you want to - ahem - throw your hat in the ring for it, you can find it on eBay here until 2 March. Be warned, though: according to Paddy Power, the odds are 6/4 that it'll sell for more than $50,000.
Here's hoping it does.
