Following the success of last season's oh-so covetable collaboration, and ALDO Rise are teaming up again for a/w 2014.

'Susanne and Ingvar consistently push the boundaries of creativity; there’s a confidence in their ability to balance colour, texture, pattern and clean shapes. It’s an artful science,' says Douglas Bensadoun, Creative Director for ALDO.

For the first time, the brand synonymous with statement-making silhouettes and prints will unveil its collection with a runway show at New York Fashion Week featuring the entire range of Ostwald Helgason x ALDO Rise bags and shoes.

After s/s 2014's inspiration from obscure artist Sean O'Malley, the pair have riffed on German conceptualist Joseph Beuys and American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein for the new season.

'For fall, we were inspired by the impossible amalgamation of two artists’ works that couldn't be more different but are of almost the same time… In the collection we combine elements that are particular to their work: felt is merged with bright poppy leathers and vinyls, shiny meets matte, clean shapes are sliced, shrunk or cut away,' explains Ostwald.
