A long list of fashion stars including Kate Moss and have made it on to this year's Debrett's Influential 500 list. The manners and etiquette expert has been publishing its encyclopaedic list of influential people since 1769.

Fashion designers , creative director Phoebe Philo, creative director Sarah Burton and Tamara Mellon, co-founder of Jimmy Choo, joined Stella McCartney (who was honoured with an OBE by the Queen last year, pictured) and Victoria Beckham on the list. Make-up artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Sam McKnight both got mentions.

But it wasn't just the fashion world - Emma Thompson and Carey Mulligan made it into the book, as did 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen.
