Break out the Bolly, sweetie it seems Ab Fab: The Movie is closer than ever to fruition.
Jennifer Saunders, who wrote the cult TV hit, has confirmed that getting it down on paper is the first thing on her 2014 to-do list.
'There isn't [a movie] but there will be,' she said today on This Morning, where she was promoting her latest book, Bonkers. 'I'm close to picking up a pen. That's how close it is.
'But after Christmas. There's so much to do before. I don't want to write it before Christmas, that would be silly. I'll do it after.'
A 2014 script could herald 2015 film release - a neat time-frame that would mark 20 years since the series ended (although, of course, it's been reprised for various one-off specials since).
Plenty of time to get the Lacroix out of storage...
