The a/w 2014 news is coming thick and fast: hot on the heel of yesterday’s Fashion East announcement, the BFC has revealed the roll call of London designers selected to receive NEWGEN sponsorship next season.

So who’s made the cut? 1205, Paula Gerbase’s label, is getting catwalk backing along with Marques’Almeida, Lucas Nascimento and ,

have graduated from the Fashion East family and are now branching out on their own, with Lo getting presentation sponsorship and Claire Barrow joining Danielle Romeril on the list for exhibition sponsorship.

Romeril is the most under the radar name on the Topshop-sponsored list. The Irish designer graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2010 and has worked for Sharon Wauchob, Sinha Stanic and Amanda Wakely and her s/s collection is a pretty, white affair drop waisted dresses, tailored culottes and sleeveless jackets in a meticulously thought out mishmash of fabrics with sheer panels and zig zag embroidery.
