Amber Valetta for H&M

The new face of its Conscious lines

Supermodel Amber Valetta has been unveiled as the new face of H&M’s ethical collections.

She’s bagged herself not one but two campaigns for the high street store – for its Conscious collection and it’s party-orientated Conscious Exclusive line. Both are due to hit stores in April 2014.

‘We share the same values about sustainability,’ says Amber. ‘This collection shows that you can be as mindful about people and the environment as fashion conscious. I simply love the designs and the fact that all the pieces are made with organic, recycled and cellulose fabrics shows that you don’t need to compromise fashion for sustainability anymore.’

This season’s Conscious Exclusive collection hasn’t been designed by H&M alone; its partnered with Elizabeth von Guttmann and Alexia Niedzielski from ethical think tank, Ever Manifesto on the project. The outcome? Amazing clothes that you’ll really want to wear that just happen to be sustainable. The dream combination.
