From the handbags to the dogs, ’s London Fashion Week show is always an ELLE highlight. But alas, it looks like we’re going to have to put our anticipation on ice for the autumn/winter 2014 season – as the house will not show in its usual format come February.

Following the departure of creative lead Emma Hill earlier this year, the label today released a statement that said it ‘has not finalised its creative director search and will therefore exceptionally not stage a catwalk show this February’.

However, all is not lost: it adds that Mulberry will ‘definitely be participating in London Fashion Week and details of this will be released in the near future’.

While the on-schedule show format we've come to know and love in the past few years stemmed from Emma, we predict that - regardless of who steps into her shoes - something similarly spectacular will continue. Our money’s on the celebrity friends, the dogs and, of course, the handbags coming too.
