Gallic style icon Ines de la Fressange is the latest designer to be snapped up by cult high street brand, Uniqlo.

The former muse and brand ambassador at Roger Vivier will bring her celebrated, less-is-more design aesthetic to the brand’s spring/summer 2014 LifeWear collection.

LifeWear is traditionally trend-aversive, so De la Fressange’s very particular style preferences should be a good match. ELLE predicts a bounty of quietly elegant separates ripe for high/low dressing.

Uniqlo is no stranger to designer collaborations, having previously enlisted the talents of iconic print designer Celia Birtwell as well as Alexa Chung favourite, Lulu Guinness.

The collection will preview in Paris this November.
