Nicole Kidman is back for round two at Jimmy Choo, as the face (and feet) of the label’s Cruise 2014 campaign.

And what a difference three months makes.

Where for autumn/winter Kidman sported a blunt bob for a film-noir inspired shoot, this time around, it’s all about long beachy locks and a ‘paradisiacal ambience’ as the Oscar-winning actress, through the lens of Camilla Akrans, channels the glamour of a 60s screen star by the sea.

‘I really enjoyed being able to play a role that was playful and free of any inhibitions, referencing iconic actresses from the 60s,’ she says. ‘I embraced the feeling of summer holidays spent at the beach where you always feel up for a dare and having fun.’

Adds Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo Creative Director: ‘Yet again Nicole has perfectly captured the strength and complexity of the Jimmy Choo woman; the depth of her character also conveys the playful and sultry mood of our Cruise collection. She radiates with the magnetic aura of iconic actresses from the 60s.’

The ads will appear in the December issues of the glossies – look out for ELLE, featuring Candice Swanepoel (and special collector’s edition Michael Fassbender), on the newsstand from tomorrow.
