It's the one we've all been waiting for: the British Fashion Awards has this morning announced its list of nominees for 2013.

Former ELLE cover star Victoria Beckham leads the pack with two nominations, for Brand of the Year – in which she goes up against and – and Red Carpet Designer of the Year, which she’ll attempt to wrest from fellow nominees and (no easy feat, surely).

McQueen’s Sarah Burton is also nominated for Womenswear Designer of the Year, capping another sterling year for the brand under her creative leadership.

Cara Delevingne is back to defend her Model of the Year title against hot competition Edie Campbell and Sam Rollinson, and our ELLE/Cointreau Bursary winner, Simone Rocha, is in with a shot at adding another trophy to her cabinet – provided she can pip Marques’Almeida and Thomas Tait in the Emerging Talent - Womenswear category.

The best part? You could be there. This year’s awards are taking place at the iconic Coliseum in London on 2 December, and tickets are now on sale. But if you can't make it for real, never fear: ELLE will be bringing you all the news and pictures as they happen regardless.

So, either way, we’ll see you on the red carpet.
